Why physical fitness is important

Physical activity is one of the best ways to feel better, look better and live better. It can deliver much-needed doses of dopamine and serotonin, and also reduce stress. One of the best things about this approach to caretaking yourself is that it’s incredibly easy to do! We know that staying active is one of the best ways to bring why physical fitness is important movement into your life and make your body stronger. It’s good for you, it’s fun and makes you feel better! Here are just a few ways being active can help you feel better, look better and live better. Because there is no reason not to!

Natural mood lifter

As you work through your day, you’re faced with a lot of tough decisions and responsibilities. Fortunately, there are easy ways to help relieve some stress from what at times may seem like an overwhelming load when it comes to this ever-increasing list of tasks that require your attention – one such way is getting up for a quick walk or taking the stairs instead of the elevator for example. The act of being physically active and continuing to move throughout your day can dramatically reduce levels of anxiety and ultimately help combat depression because as you get into better physical shape and as time passes while maintaining these regular workouts/physical activity sessions, you begin to notice that more endorphins have been released which results in an overall higher level of happiness both mentally and physically.

Researchers over the years have found that physical activity may lead to increased self-esteem, reduced perception of stress, decreased symptoms of depression, and increased feelings of pleasure. These are all things I am sure they have confirmed beyond a shadow of a doubt (pun intended) but I am still glad they verified it in their physical studies as well. Did you know that research has shown that walking can also lessen pain both physically and emotionally? And some studies have even indicated that regular athletes live longer than those who don’t exercise at all. Exercise is one powerful way to improve your mood. On the flip side, we often notice when people are put under uncontrollable stressful situations they tend to fall ill quite easily especially if they haven’t had time off.

Do you know that “feel good sensation” you get after doing something physical? Not sure how to be more active? Start small, with one step at a time. It’s only by putting one foot in front of the other that you build up the endurance to go further and do more.

Physically fit and able

If you don’t exercise regularly, pretty soon you’re going to get sick and out of shape. This is because just like anything else, your body wears down when it’s not being stressed in the right ways. It’s kind of like a fireman: he gets a lot more fire-fighting done if he trains regularly. So that his muscles are at their peak performance level when they’re really needed. For example, let’s say someone has a heart attack and needs to be resuscitated as quickly as possible. If the fireman is used to regular fitness training, then his muscle strength will be trained for exactly. In this kind of scenario and he’ll have a much higher chance of saving this person. Then if he had expended himself doing fire training less frequently.

This is why it’s so important to maintain an active lifestyle. If you don’t, your body will eventually start to slow down and you can unknowingly put yourself at greater risk for serious injury — your ability to move around freely could suffer due to muscle deterioration and lack of stamina because, without a healthy body, any physical activity you might ever do would be completely wasted over time!

Body movement

Movement is vital to the body. It helps increase strength, and agility, and can even aid in long-term decreases in age-related diseases and illnesses. With that said, moving the body preserves its capacity to move. Take this into consideration when you are constantly doing movements: at first. You might be able to do handstands all day long without difficulty but after a few years. If you don’t move your body as much on a daily basis. It will become difficult for you to keep doing handstands every now and then because your muscles have atrophied from lack of activity. Thus, one important thing we want to remind everyone is that although. It’s true that aging can slow down your movements — excess inactivity causes archaic movement patterns that could ultimately lead to failing health so please be sure to keep up with some sort of regular activity these days!

Doctor away

Sit less, stand more! We know it’s not always easy to break the sedentary routine of an active multi-tasking lifestyle. But if you remain confined to your desk for long hours, that can have a negative impact on your health. To drive the point home, one study showed that adults who watch more than 4 hours of television a day had an 80% higher risk of death from cardiovascular disease.

Sitting too much is just as bad for you as smoking! Studies have shown that adults who sit for extended stretches of time (more than 6 hours a day) have a 50% higher risk of death from cardiovascular disease.

An apple a day

An apple a day can help prevent ailments such as heart disease and stroke when associated with a healthy, active lifestyle. New research has shown that sitting too much can increase the risk of serious diseases by 82%. It’s essential to address your daily activity levels whilst adhering to a balanced diet. Too much time spent on the couch watching TV could result in an early grave!

Live longer

It’s so true that 70 is the new 60. However, don’t let that go to your head if you’re not in good physical and mental shape! People who are physically active and have a healthy weight live seven years longer than those who are inactive and overweight. The key is to be physically fit at every age with staying active results in a decreased risk of heart disease, stroke, cancer, diabetes, arthritis, and Alzheimer’s just to name some of the biggest threats to our elders these days as they get older or when they reach (gulp!) retirement. The benefits of being active start when we are young and continue into old age. So active adults maintain their quality of life longer. The age resulting in better overall health for many years more.

That being said, however, as people age our bodies change which causes us more and more problems as time goes by. But you know what they say? If we remain fit – exercise regularly – and eat right – our health will be in better shape meaning we will stay active and mobile for longer periods of time! Stress on preventative health rather than treating illnesses later in life!

physically active

Working out and staying physically active is key to living as long and healthy a life as possible. You may have heard that you’re only as old as you feel. But actually, age is your body’s measure of wear and tear. The number of miles on your odometer, so to speak. It’s true that if you want to live longer you need to stay fit because the people who are physically active and at a healthy weight tend to visit their doctors less frequently than sedentary individuals. This way they can delay or completely prevent chronic diseases and illnesses associated with aging! So if you’re feeling particularly sluggish at your next annual check-up. It is upon you to get active in the time leading up to this appointment because doing. So will help you maintain your quality of life and independence longer as you age.
